Ms Špilak is a founder of BOC INSTITUTE company, with vast experience in international sales and marketing, holding a range of high professional and managerial positions.
Having begun her career in the field of FMCG, she moved into pharmaceuticals. For six years she worked for the pharmaceutical giant Sanofi, where she was responsible for managing the Consumer Health Care for eight countries in the Adriatic region. In this post, she built up the entire Unit, was in charge of geographical expansion and led all strategic, marketing, sales and organisational activities. Prior to that, she managed in GlaxoSmithKline the Aquafresh brand for the entire CEE region.
Simona is combining excellent managerial experience and knowledge, gained in an international environment, with the energetic approach and constantly challenging ”status quo” situation. She strongly believes that concrete stories that lead to change in companies, can only be created with passion and personal integrity. For this reason, she established BOC Institute.
Simona is an accredited coach, holding Erickson® Coaching International license and licensed expert for individual and team profiling tools Saville® Performance and Process Communication Model® (PCM).
She holds a Master of Science in Economics and in addition to Slovenian, she is fluent in English, German, Serbian and Croatian. For the past 12 years, she has been a guest lecturer on the International Business course at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, is a Steering Committee member at the International Business MBA at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, acts as a Board Member at the International Section of Manager’s Association of Slovenia and Advisor at Institute Atelje Art Murn International.
