Our client is an international pharmaceutical company, looking for a new employee in the field of diabetes for Slovenia market, who will join the diabetes business unit team and play a key role in the launch of a new product and development of KOL relationships.  

Key Account Expert Diabetes Slovenia

  • Area: Diabetes 
  • Location: based in Slovenia, Ljubljana 
  • Reporting Line: Business Unit Manager Diabetes  

The Key Account Expert is responsible for the creation and execution of integrated product strategies through the stages of life cycle management. The individual will work with the Business Unit Manager and the team to evaluate opportunities and develop plans to optimize a product launch and activities execution in relation with KOL’s.    

Tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Analyse the target audience (KOL targeting and segmentation) and correlate with their potential, project participation and their influential capacity to optimize KAE resources  
  • Proposal of quarter activities based on 4S model and effective implementation of the model activity on the field 
  • Regular visit of targeted KOLs according to business needs and cycle strategy
  • Maintain sales call frequencies and number of doctor and pharmacy visits as per plan 
  • Lead/implement a different types of marketing projects in the field including launching of new products in Slovenia and cooperation with KOLs (KOLs activation) 
  • Understand market dynamics thoroughly to identify current and future areas of opportunity 
  • Cycle Meeting preparation 
  • Monitoring and analysing of IMS data on regular basis 
  • Forecasting future sales trends to ensure optimal stock levels and report
  • LBE of performance vs. budget, actively participation in Operational reviews  
  • Exchange Competitor knowledge - present comments, highlights and competitor activity 
  • Cooperation with regional team, effectively inform them about progress of projects and KOL engagement
  • Delivers reports and plans needed by his or her supervisor Improve products knowledge, marketing and selling skills on regular basis 
  • Exchange/share feed-back information on HCPs acceptability of our key messages, promotional materials, gadgets and other promotional activities 
  • Expense reports as per accounting procedures / expenses within budget 
  • Compliance with ethical standards and business practices as relate to dress, acceptable professional behaviour.  

Candidate profile 

Education: Completed Bachelor’s degree required 

Qualifications: minimum 5 years pharmaceutical / medical device industry; sales and diabetes market experience preferred 

Languages: Slovenian & English 

Computer knowledge: good knowledge of MC Office (word, excel, powerpoint)
